Should We Give Up - 

    Or Just Keep Chasing Cars.

Even If It Gets Us Nowhere?

Would It Be A Waste -

    Since We Know Our Place.

Should We Leave It Be -

    Or Just Keep Chasing Cars?

Knowing It Will Get Us Nowhere.

We've made up our mind, 

    nothing to think over.

If we're wrong we're right, 

    no need to look further.

This isn't lust,

    we know this is love.

And if we tell the world, 

    we could never say enough.

Because it should be,

     directly said to you.

That's exactly what we need to do

    if we're to convince you that it's true.

Should We Give Up - 

    Or Just Keep Chasing Cars.

    Since We Know Our Place.

Knowing It Will Get Us Nowhere.

We  set our self up,

   and chase our tail in circles.

Then cry as our heart drops,

   and old fears begin to tingle.

Finally could this be real,

    we will always wonder.

And if we tell the world,

    will you believe our words?

Or will it be just more,

   of the same old song?

What will we have to do,

    to make you feel this too?
