- RING ( the ) ( bought at Irwin ) - we listen to - the words she had to say. and in our head - we felt betrayed. now our plastic face - a fake smile portrays. while all our insides - are left cold and gray. there is a place where - what's left of our heart remains. it's eatin by "the fear" - it's eatin by "the pain". the sweetest price - we've ever had to pay. the day the golden path - finally went away. into a box - we put her letters. all her words of "our" - future that would be better. we couldn't stand the thought - of giving back to the rainbow. the dreams she helped - recreate and retrieve, so to the jordan we did drive - they too went into the box. all the everything into the water - weighted down with a one carat rock. we heard all the words - she didn't say. and in our head - shelby cried, felt betrayed. now our body get's large - to survive when we're away. while all the tears - fill our eyes of gray. there is no trace of our heart - only the scars remain. destroyed by "the mourning" - wrecked by "the pain". the sweetest price - angel made us pay. the day the golden path - finally went away. 20120511 @ 0430

- RING ( the ) II - well we've worked so hard lately, to do more then watch our heart bleed. if we become twice as large as we were, we still couldn't be all that you need. still we say that we don't love you, but if we hear or think of you. admit that it's not true. still waiting for the closure, is consideration beyond your view ?      the ring.      forever carved in stone.      crushed into dust.      the ring.      cut our heart to the bone.      and offer it to us. so we just feel nailed down here, hanging off of our personal cross. wondering if "our" love was a sin, and ignoring what it cost. wrap our stab wounds up in bandages, confused by what "we" went through. we could get everything we want, if given a little time with you.       the ring.      forever cast in stone.      ground down to dust.      the ring.      an angel in flesh and bone.      was it only lust. 20120511 @ 0455
