- HORROR ( the ) - we beat our brain. it's a part of us. it's inside of us. we're stuck with dead dreams. it's changing us. . . we are becoming. the us that we knew, never had second thoughts. now our heart's covered with scabs, and we are broken and sore. the us that we knew. doesn't come around much. that part of us, isn't here anymore. "the pain" never disappears. it's the nature of our circuitry. drowns out all we hear. there's no escape from this, our sub-conscious. the us that we knew, had such intense feelings. but the blood - has stopped pumping, and we're left to decay. the us that we knew. was killed by liars. and even when we're right, with us we're so far away. we can try to get away. but we’re nailed down. we can try to drown out, her words echoing in our ears. we can see it killed away, all our trust parts. we don't want to listen. but it's all too clear. hiding backwards. inside of us. we feel so afraid. . .
