We said not single word,

   For three years nothing was heard,

      Most nights we screamed alone.

And then six months ago,

   He packed up his things to go,

      We entered the danger zone.

We built our courage up -

Opened up and we were though the door.

'Cos we’re reckless -

Afraid to burn.

Reckless -

Life circle still turns.
Reckless -

Fear ‘the rainbow’s” return.

We’re reckless -

Oh yeah .

Come inside our mind,

   And you’ll come to find,

      That you’re both demon and angel.

And here’s the funny thing,

   As you pull our heart strings,

      We are nothing but grateful.

We've been this way before -

Afraid to look at what’s crashing our door.
And we’re reckless -

Afraid to burn.

Reckless -

Life circle still turns.
Reckless -

Fear ‘the rainbow’s” return.

We’re reckless -

You have heard our words,

   And you’re head has whirred,

      You know you’re not alone.
Even late night,

  When neon kills day light,

      “We’re” in the danger zone.

“We” wait with pounding hearts -

A soft kiss was just the start
'Cos “we’re” reckless -

Feeling to burn.

Reckless -

And starting to yearn.
Reckless -

Willing to learn.

“We’re” reckless. . .

just a single word. 
we prayed that you heard.
It will be worth the fight.
And “we” can face the light.
And be reckless.
