Lucky One

                             Lucky One

It's about time we found out our egos a coffin so we lie down.
It's about time that we  put our pride away to stay.
'Cause there's something about how the words sound
When they're coming out of our own mouth
That makes us wonder what we’re really worth.

We're The Lucky One.
And We’ve Watched It All Come Undone.
We're The Bastard Son.
Who Squandered Everything We Once Won.

We've learned enough by now to know,
There's lines to cross and ones to just let go.
We're worth a fools weight in gold,
The cost of all the good we’ve sold.
That makes us wonder what we’re really worth.

And so we think we've got some nerve.
Living with what we earned not what we deserved
That’s what keeps our feet below our knees
We’ve set our sights ahead yet we’re going down.
That makes us wonder what we’re worth.

We're The Lucky One.
And We’ve Torn All The Dreams Down.
We're The Bastard Son.
Just Treading Water Before We Drown.

If this is all a dream we beg to be awake.
Life and love and the memories all fake.
We've found nothing is worth all we've given up
Give in, fade out, raise hell, get let down,
'Cause we can't change the rules they made to set our worth.

We're The Lucky One
And We Built The Bridges That We’ve Burned.
We're The Bastard Son.
Who’s Relinquished Everything We’ve Earned

( we're the lucky one )
( is this all a dream )
( what's said and undone )
( we beg you to make us wake )
( we're the bastard son )
( we've found nothing’s worth all we've given up )
( and we tore these feelings down )
