we often wonder, what we were thinking. our imagination paints it so grand. dreaming dreams that can't come true. beautiful castles, made of sand.
So here it is, our new issue. falling back to a lack of trust. when the pretty all turns so ugly. real happiness, short circuited by lust.
always felt safest, existing in shadows. the archer always sure of his mark. and now we're in a situation. that we're taking, shots in the dark.

we thought by now, we'd be happy on our own. but our heart feels pulls it can't resist. drags us along on a hell bent ride. believing in something, our head say's doesn't exist.
we feel so stupid, when we forget. the dark rainbow equals a dreams death. whirling and twirling, boomerang back. wishing for love, with our last breath.
but that's a wolf, that no longer howls. remembering half the moon is black. but walls built for protection. become a prison, that stops no attack.
