the memories of that july night, are hazy.
saw her danger with our eyes of grey.
She's a stealer of dreams, she's crazy.
and we followed her any way.

It was just another summer night,
when "we" sat there on the front lawn.
It all just felt so real and right,
and our heart waited for the dawn.

she was just a predator -
she jumped at the moment -
and all she told us was -
another lie.

we started to see and plan, for "someday".
felt alive, so young and strong.
it felt like a Nick Sparks screenplay.
we were so wrong, wrong, wrong.

It was just another winter night,
we prayed she wouldn't come back.
but she did and started a fight,
sadly not her last attack.

she jumped at the moment -
she was just a predator -
yeah -
when she said "I love you" we knew -
it was another lie -
just another lie -
another lie.

the past grows hazy -
and we're finally getting stronger -
another lie. . .
she's too crazy -
all her lies are getting longer -
another lie. . .
"i love you" -
was her greatest lie -
just another lie. . .
