Message In A Bottle

               - Message In A Bottle -

we’re sending out a message to our self -
so when this bottle reaches shore . . .
we will know that we are fine -
we shouldn’t look for love anymore.

we warned our self,
 of the blackness in our chest .
the razor wire ‘round our heart,
 that never takes a rest .
it's funny what we find,
  when our heart climbs up a peak.
pain is what we get,
 when pain is what we seek

we’re sending out a message to our self -
so  when this bottle reaches shore . . .
we will know that we are fine -
we shouldn’t look for love anymore.

we made every choice,
 and stumbled along our way.
each day we spent in hell,
  was another choice to stay .
it's funny what we feared,
 is the thing that made us weak.
the truth is what we get,
 when truth is what we speak.
