we quit

we -
want to be more then friends.
and we -
feel her heart won't come around.

know it all depends on,
her -
touching hearts with us.
but -
we quit, we give up,
  seems we're not good enough for her,
  it seems . . .

  nothing we do is good enough for her,

     that being alone is,
     the safe way to be.
